# Contributions and attribution

Haobai Wang is the primary author. The public credit register is publication/contributors.json.

Record contributions under one or more distinct roles: primary author, chapter contributor, reviewer, or technical contributor. Confirm the person's public display name, the chapter/file scope, their permission to be credited, and the necessary rights before merging contributed content. Do not publish private correspondence or research to establish credit.

A review does not imply authorship, responsibility for the whole book, or endorsement of later revisions. Technical contributions do not automatically create a chapter-author credit. A Git commit, issue, or automated edit is not by itself a complete authorship assessment. AI tools are disclosed separately and are not entered as human authors or reviewers.

Submitting a change does not automatically assign copyright or apply an open licence. Agree on the rights required for inclusion, translation and distribution before accepting substantive contributed text, figures or code; keep private agreements outside public exports. Retain third-party notices and record any permission limits.
